REVIEWS
"But all that is essentially icing over the apps sweet interface which is what makes this player stand out from other cassette player apps out there." – Übergizmo

"AirCassette for iPhone, however, is one cassette tape thats just plain awesome. Thats because its not really a cassette tape (obviously), but its a terrific music player thats designed to look like one, and it looks fantastic." – Cult of Mac

"AirCassette taps into that nostalgic feeling by giving me an awesome UI that awesomely re-creates a tape. Seeing the cassette tape spin on my iPhones screen makes me happy. Like I remember where I came from or something." – Gizmodo

"Watching a cassette tape spin on the iPhones high-resolution display is oddly calming and, thanks to digital compression, the audio is far superior in AirCassette than it ever was on my Sony Walkman." – NY Times

SHARE
Choose your favourite from a selection of nostalgic cassette tapes, and share it with your friends on Facebook and Twitter or via email. The name of the song, artist and album is written on the shared cassette label. Support your favourite artist by sharing an iTunes song preview and a link to the iTunes Store. You can even share the entire song queue with your friends, and let them know what will be the soundtrack of your day.

QUEUE
With AirCassette cassette player app you can listen to music without interruption while you browse your music library and add tracks to the play queue. In the queue view you can check the number of songs in the queue and the playing time of the entire queue. You can delete one song at a time with a swipe-to-delete gesture, or clear the entire queue with one tap. You can also save your queues as mixtapes.

AirCassette supports AirPlay.

Pros and cons of AirCassette app for iPhone and iPad

AirCassette app good for

Love it!!! Improvements I may suggest (inspired by Fluxtunes) : - when youre already playing a song, launching AirCassette shouldnt stop the track - random mode - to be able to play already existing iTunes playlists - skipping from one album to another (not possible with iPod interface) - skipping 10 seconds forward (or backwards)
Wrote a review yesterday, Update came 1 day later- awesome! 5stars for the kickoff of the new update, but keep bringing more!!! Pro -15 cassetts, all look great -Good looking menue (not the standart thing), -SHUFFLE:D Con -not Universal for iPad -Landscape only app... At least in the menue a horizwntal view could improve the comfort -quit small menue buttons, not easy to use will walking/running
There are a few typos on the red colored tape: "bersonders rouscharm" should be "besonders rauscharm"; dito on the left side of the same tape.
Therefore...5 Stars! I own "AirCassette" since Years, since i bought my 1st iPodTouch 5G. It was always my "WalkMAN", and ive "infected" a dozen of Friends, who bought it too. Last Version sadly had a Bug, related to "InApp-Purchases". I could not load the bought additional Designs. BUT: the DEV-Team was SO KIND... - Answered soon - explained exactly - gave me a "Sorry-Gift" ...Days ago...another Update, and: Bug was FIXED! I got my X-tra Designs back. This are Facts you get TOO...when installing AirCassette!! Cause: good Support is RARE these days! Thank you so much, DEV-Team!
Beautiful design. I love showing it off, but it needs one more thing to make it my primary music player: scrub bar. Essential for long DJ sets, podcasts, etc.
very nice. just wish it had a faster way to scroll through artists.

Some bad moments

Doesnt work on iPhone 5. App automatically shut down after start it.
I can see this app having real potential; however right now I believe it needs a bit of work before Id even consider using it over the regular music player. 1) searching for my songs is too cumbersome, considering my only choice to begin is by artist, and I cant quickly scroll through my library. There isnt even a Search option. 2) adding tracks to the cue list is great, but it doesnt easily translate to a playlist, especially if I want to add to the playlist later, I have to delete the old list first or name it something else. Overwriting a playlist might be nice. 3) it would be nice to see my iTunes playlists within this app. I have my songs sorted by genre there & it would be nice to have access to them. All in all I can see this app becoming one of the best ones out there, but for now it still needs a lot of work.
My mistake, but I just wasted 2 bucks on an app that doesnt support anything below iOS 5.
Very cool look, but its just too confusing for choosing music than the regular music player. A shuffle feature would be nice. Hoping it gets a little better with updates.
Not overly satisfied with the functionality, feels a little clumsy. Could use a search option. Dont think I will use this app until i see some updates.
Ever since the last update it doesnt work anymore. It just opens up with a white (blank) screen. Ive tried deleting and reinstalling but the same thing happens. It used to work before the update (iPhone 4s).
